Nights with 8- and 12-hour shifts.Every third weekend rotation and holiday rotation.Incentives :

Post-operative craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients in our Comprehensive Stroke Program.High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients.As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), our unit provides exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and innovations in patient care.

Utilize nursing processes for individualized patient care management.Anticipate and respond to significant changes in patients’ conditions effectively.Implement strategies focused on patient safety and risk reduction.Participate actively in discharge planning and evidence-based practices.Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking initiative for improvements.Demonstrate effective communication and leadership within the care team.Contribute to a culture of safety, reporting and addressing potential hazards.Engage in ongoing professional development and educational activities.Licensure & Certification Requirements :
Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Education & Experience Required :
Completion of an accredited Nursing program.Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Demonstrated ability to provide holistic, patient-centered care.Adaptability in recognizing and responding to situational changes.Skilled in using electronic medical records and communication technologies.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Initiative in collaborative team environments.Strong organizational and time management skills.Physical Requirements :
