Electrical Special Projects Technician

The Electrical Special Projects Technician will be an active member of the installation team focused on the installation of electrical infrastructure as required for customer installation.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position carries out no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Main areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to : installation of liquid tite, receptacles, installation of colored wire per electrical code, termination of breakers in RPP, testing, sending of code sheets and installation of grounding infrastructure.
• Coordination with customers and other departments for the installation of service related electrical installations.
• Direct communication with upper management in regards to install schedule and assigned daily tasks.
• Direct interface with customers regarding support tickets requests.
• Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed with an acceptable level of cleanliness.
• Perform quality assurance checks on all work completed.
• Maintain appearance and communication for all Customer Service opportunities.
• Self-motivated to help and learn in all areas of our department outside their direct supervisor position.

Education and Experience

Certification : Licensed Electrical Journeyman in the state of employment

Education : High School or GED

Experience : Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience or 4 years working in Switch's Construction Department
