About the Role
This is a high-accountability, execution-driven role.
You’ll manage approximately 60 projects per year, ranging from $50,000 to $1M in value, including telescopic bleachers, grandstands, lockers, wall pads, casework, and gym equipment systems.
Deadlines are non-negotiable and logistics are complex. We’re seeking someone who thrives in high-pressure environments, excels at coordination, and takes full ownership from kickoff to closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from submittals and shop drawings through installation and final punchout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between architects, GCs, site supers, installers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Interpret and apply architectural drawings and specifications.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce detailed project schedules and installation plans.
- Coordinate shipments, site staging, equipment, inspections, and installation labor.
- Conduct on-site walkthroughs to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, cost tracking, and closeout documentation.
- Partner with sales and estimating teams to protect scope, margin, and quality.
- Build professional relationships and uphold Carroll Seating’s reputation in the field.
Qualifications
Preferred Experience :
Familiarity with telescopic bleachers, grandstands, seating systems, or athletic equipment.Core Competencies :
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field coordination.Organizational and time-management skills.Confident communicator — comfortable leading meetings and setting expectations.Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools a plus.Willingness to travel to job sites within a 200-mile radius of Wood Dale, IL.What We Offer
