RN - PACE at Providence Health and Services summary :

The Community Care RN at Providence PACE provides and supervises professional nursing care focused on promoting health and independence among elderly patients in the community. The role involves assessing, planning, delegating, and teaching nursing care in accordance with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act. Candidates are required to hold a current Oregon RN license and possess BLS certification, with preferred experience in home health nursing.

Description

The Community Care RN provides and supervises professional, independent nursing care for Providence patients. Care is based in the nursing process and is consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act. Applies knowledge of assessing, planning, ordering, giving, delegating, teaching and supervising professional nursing care delivery that promotes patients' optimal health and independence.

Required Qualifications :

Coursework / Training - Relevant training applicable to the position, as specified by the Nurse Manager.

Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Relevant certifications applicable to the position, as specified by the Nurse Manager upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing.

1 year - Home health RN experience.
