Nurse Extern - Semester 2026

Inova is accepting applications for our Nurse Extern - 2026 Semester Program. Inova offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience to allow you to grow in confidence and knowledge!

Start dates : 1 / 5 / 26 and 3 / 9 / 26

Nurse Externs - Semester Nurse Externs are required to work a minimum of 96 hours on the unit over 12-week session.

The first week (5 days) is mandatory training and orientation (daytime hours).

Please apply by November 1, 2025 for priority consideration.

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a nursing degree program and have successfully completed at least one acute care clinical rotation

Shifts : All (Day shift, mid-shift, Night shift)

Specialty Areas : Inpatient units only
