We have an openings for an Experienced Mechanic and Lube Tech at our Brandon, Florida location.

Skills and Requirements :

3 years or more in the trade (w / reference), ASE Certified & Diagnostic experience is a plus
Must have tools
609 Cert helpful.
Ability to use computerized equipment for vehicles
Must be able to test drive vehicles before and after repairs, - valid driver’s license is required.
Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems
Must be able to complete employment application and must be able to pass a drug / background test

Responsibilities :

Perform minor component repair and all aspects of preventative maintenance.

Inspect, diagnose and repair brake systems, engines, electrical components, cooling systems, steering systems, transmissions and tires.

perform diagnostic tests for routine maintenance procedures and determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems.

Repair malfunctioning components, retrofit engines, change brakes, adjust steering systems, replace worn-out parts and change fluids.

Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required including but not limited to - hydraulic jacks, pneumatic wrenches and precision gauges. Experience with shop equipment is a plus.

Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required

Must have a positive attitude and willingness to grow in position along with strong work ethics and commitment to work the hours necessary to accomplish the job duties

Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
