A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for an early childhood educational setting focused on preschool-aged children. This position is based in Tipp City, OH, and offered as a contract for the upcoming school year.
The role involves working across 12 classrooms, providing 24 therapy sessions weekly from Monday to Thursday. The caseload includes approximately 40 students exhibiting diverse needs, including a significant number with complex communication challenges and articulation goals. Notably, around 140 children currently have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), with 50 students diagnosed with Level 2 and Level 3 Autism and about 50 identified as non-verbal. Some students also receive feeding therapy services outside the school setting, highlighting a multifaceted clinical environment.
Key responsibilities include direct therapy sessions primarily delivered through push-in services, collaborating closely with teachers and staff to support effective communication development in young learners. The position benefits from a highly supportive onsite team and welcomes professionals at the CCC level or Clinical Fellows (CF) seeking a robust clinical experience.
