SUMMARY
Provides primary care medical services to the patients of UMMA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care for pediatric patients, including well-child visits, acute care, and chronic disease management.
Quality Improvement & Metrics :
Lead and participate in QI initiatives aimed at improving pediatric health outcomes, including vaccination rates, developmental screenings, asthma control, and well-child visit adherence.
Collaboration & Leadership :
Partner with pediatricians, nurses, and care coordinators to develop workflow improvements that enhance efficiency and patient experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position may have supervisory responsibility to medical assistants and licensed vocational nurses. He or she may be expected to provide leadership and instruction to volunteers, students and less experienced staff.
