American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position in the East Portland and Clark County area, requiring current OR and WA licensure and at least one year of skilled home health experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a home health setting serving East Portland, OR, Clark County, WA, and surrounding areasSchedule is 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or on-call responsibilitiesPatient caseload includes up to 6 visits per day based on a 30 productivity points standard with a 1 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratioUse of EPIC Remote Client and Rover (phone app) for documentation, along with required Oasis chartingDriving required, with daily travel potentially up to a 60-mile radius and 60-90 minute drive timeTravelers must supply their own transportationMust wear business casual attire or scrubs (no specific color required), no jeans allowedMileage reimbursement is provided at the IRS standard rateFree parking availableApplicants who were permanent staff must wait at least three months and reside more than 50 miles from the facility to return as a travelerModules required for onboarding and annually, completed pre-start and self-reportedAll travelers are expected to float between all facilities within each licensed stateLocal candidates within a 50-75 mile radius are accepted at the same rateFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyLimited RTO allowed; must be discussed and confirmed during the hiring process\n \n Requirements\n
Active RN license in both Oregon and Washington prior to start or pending at offerCurrent Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification requiredMinimum 1 year of skilled home health nursing experience requiredOasis documentation experience is requiredSupervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last three years in a comparable settingCOVID vaccination series and one booster required\n Benefits\n
