Job descriptionClass A CDL or Class B CDL Clean MVR Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience Must be able to read, write, and speak English Must be able to work flexible schedules and cover vacations or call-ins Knowledge of DOT regulations governing hours of service, safe driving, and vehicle inspections Pay : Hourly ($17.80–$22.70 per hour) or mileage pay depending on the load; additional hourly pay after 90 days Hometime options : Home daily, home every other day, or home weekly Benefits after 90 days : BCBS health insurance, dental, vision, short-term disability Other benefits : 10 paid holidays, paid vacation, direct deposit payroll (bi-weekly), life insurance ($15,000 free; additional up to $60k with dependent options), and 401(k) Equipment : Most trucks 5 years old or newer; Volvos and Internationals; 68 mph governed; APUs and refrigerators; majority automatic Full-time
Overview
B&B Trucking is a diversified local, regional, and long-haul transportation carrier. We haul mail for the United States Postal Service. Our team operates dedicated routes with a focus on home time and reliable, safe operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive for USPS; operate between Postal facilities and relay points, with mostly dedicated, round-trip freight.
- May be required to load and unload trailers, with or without mechanical freight-handling equipment.
- Adhere to DOT hours-of-service regulations and ensure safe driving practices.
- Operate equipment in compliance with company policies and maintain professionalism with customers and dispatch teams.
