Senior Underwriter

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Review mortgage applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness

Perform risk-based reviews on loans based on expected performance and ability to repay

Input required information into the underwriting module accurately and within established time frames

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience underwriting borrowers with complex financial and income statements

2+ years of experience preparing cash flows on partnerships, s-corporations, and corporations

Experience with automated loan origination systems

Proficiency with automated underwriting systems such as Desktop Underwriter and Loan Prospector

Knowledge of mortgage lending laws and regulations
