In this position you will operate CT imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic-quality images for adult and pediatric patients, adhering to patient safety and radiation-safety standards. You’ll perform patient positioning, protocol selection, and image optimization under the supervision of radiologists, ensuring accurate data for interpretation. You’ll monitor patient comfort, manage IV contrast administration within your scope, and maintain meticulous documentation of procedures and image data. Quality control and equipment calibration will be part of your routine, as will collaboration with technologists, radiologists, nurses, and support staff to streamline workflow and maximize throughput.
