Position Summary

ThePace Settersupports the operation of recreational races under the NASTAR (National Standard Race) program. This role involves setting the pace time, setting up racecourses, timing systems, and ensuring a safe and fun experience for participants of all ages and skill levels. You are responsible for maintaining race integrity, assisting racers, and contributing to a positive mountain environment.

Specific Job Skills

License / Certifications : USSA 100 preferred.

Technical : Basic computer skills, previous Race background is preferred. Skiing or riding at an expert level is preferred.

Physical Capabilities : Ability to stand or walk on snow for the entirety of your shift. Ability to be outside in all weather conditions. Able to lift 50 lbs on your own and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Additional : Excellent guest and employee relations

Education / Related Experience

Minimum education required - English reading, writing and communication.

Minimum time in related position - 1-2 years racing preferred
