Monitoring And Evaluation Program Manager
New York City Emergency Management (NYCEM) helps New Yorkers before, during, and after emergencies through preparedness, education, and response. NYCEM is responsible for coordinating citywide emergency planning and response for all types and scales of emergencies. The Office of Strategic Operations (OSO), led by the Chief Strategy Officer, is responsible for managing high-priority agency-wide or citywide initiatives that support the growth of emergency management at both our agency and the City at large. OSO is organized into three Units : Analysis and Evaluation, Strategy and Innovation, and Continuity of Operations (COOP). The Analysis & Evaluation (A&E) Unit is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify and track to completion recommendations that improve the City's response posture. The Monitoring and Evaluation Program Manager is responsible for leading the agency's After-Action reporting process following real-world activations, as well as for developing and implementing an agency-wide monitoring and evaluation strategy to drive continuous improvement. The Monitoring and Evaluation Program Manager will report to the Director of Analysis and Evaluation and will conduct the following duties :
