CT Rad Tech Job Details

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2710 - $2920

Assignment Type : Travel Radiologic Technologist

Location : Odessa, TX 79761 (West Texas healthcare jobs)

Duration : 13 weeks (10 / 21 / 2025 – 1 / 20 / 2026)

Shift : Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08 : 00 – 17 : 00)

Hours per Week : 40

Call : 7 days per 3 weeks for Cath Lab & PRN for Hybrid OR

Orientation : 16 hours

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist

Current ARRT (R) certification required

Texas Medical Board (TMB) license required

BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred

Experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Hybrid OR required (Electrophysiology preferred)

Familiarity with Cerner charting system preferred

Ability to participate in call rotation as required

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions allowed)

Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted

CT Rad Tech Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, vascular, and interventional radiology studies

Assist in Cath Lab and Hybrid OR procedures such as EVARs, AAA, TCAR, and peripheral interventions

Participate in call rotation for Cath Lab and Hybrid OR coverage

Operate and maintain imaging equipment (Siemens, Philips, and PACS systems)

Ensure accurate patient monitoring, documentation, and clinical support

Maintain sterile field and assist with scrub procedures as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams

Support a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures : PCI, IABP, Rotablator, Laser, IVUS, IFR, Pacemaker Implants / Removals, TAVR, Carotid Stents, and more

Deliver compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse cardiac and vascular diagnoses
