Health Unit Coordinator - Long Term Care at Providence Child Center in Portland, Oregon. This posting represents a full-time day shift position.

Our Long-Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients. We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents require long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living. Our team is deeply committed to providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a nurturing environment.

Our unit is known for its exceptional continuity of care, with many caregivers having long tenures and deep relationships with our residents and families. Provides support services for the Center for Medically Fragile Children including answering phones, taking orders, ordering supplies & tracking facility statistics.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position.
• 1 year experience in healthcare facility. Education or training will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Proven track record of dependability and reliability.
