Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Salina, Kansas (zip 67401) Healthcare Setting : 38-bed Med / Surg Telemetry Unit Contract Length : 13 weeks Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Start Date : November 24, 2025 End Date : February 23, 2026 Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend required Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 Unit Scrub Color : Navy Blue Estimated Weekly Pay : $1780 - $1910 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience Prior travel nursing experience required Active Kansas or Compact RN license at time of submission BLS certification required (NIHSS preferred) Meditech EMR experience required Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (radius rule applies) References required COVID-19 vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) First-time travelers and prior employees of Salina Regional not accepted Nursing Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in a Med / Surg Telemetry environment Monitor telemetry (on-unit and remote monitoring) Administer medications including Heparin, Insulin, and PCA Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, and maintain IVs Manage surgical drains, chest tubes, tracheostomies, CPAP / BiPAP, HFNC, and oral suctioning Implement isolation precautions and provide wound care / wound vac management Care for patients with GI, GU / renal, neurological (CVA, substance withdrawal), plastics, respiratory, and oncology diagnoses Float to other Med-Surg units or ED / ICU to care for floor patients as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services Apply now to join our healthcare team in Salina, Kansas, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
