Nurse Extern I Med Surg PRN Nights Position Summary Under the direction / supervision of RN, provides basic and intermediate nursing care for assigned groups of patients based on competence. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned Models' professional behavior while demonstrating knowledge, skills, and a positive attitude. This includes the ability to provide patient-centered care, teamwork and collaboration, evidence-based practice, and quality improvements. Education Requirement : Proof of current enrollment in an accredited nursing program and has completed one semester of clinical education in an RN program. Certification Requirement : BLS and CPI CPI must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer to this position.
