Position Overview:
NuVision is seeking an experienced Optician to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. This position is open due to recent team members relocating for family reasons and is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-established practice with room to grow. The ideal candidate has an optometric background, enjoys working in a flexible environment, and is open to supporting multiple locations as needed.

Compensation and Employment Details:

• W2 position
• Hourly pay range of $19–$23, based on experience
• Eligibility for quarterly performance bonuses

Schedule:

• Monday and Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday and Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with frame and lens selection based on visual needs, lifestyle, and preferences
• Interpret and fill eyewear prescriptions accurately
• Provide education to patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear care
• Perform measurements and adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort
• Support day-to-day optical operations and maintain a positive patient experience
• Collaborate with doctors and staff across multiple NuVision locations
• Adapt to changing workflows and processes in a growing practice environment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an optometric or optical setting required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Optician licensing not required; licensed candidates are welcome
• Comfortable learning new software and technology; all systems are trainable
• Willingness and ability to work across all four NuVision locations (all within driving distance)
• Flexible, adaptable mindset with comfort in a non-rigid, evolving office structure
