Job descriptionThis engineer will be able to trouble shoot and resolve problems including but not limited to circuit breakers, transformers, motor starters, contactors, relays, A.C. / D.C. inverters, braking resistors, etc. The successful candidate must have a 4-year Software / Electrical Engineering degree (BSEE, BSEET) or equivalent. Be able to trouble shoot and update / modify computer programs such as PLC code or HMI programs that automate specific business processes. Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and solve problems (shop or field) by working with other engineers and service technicians, along with persons in other departments, to research and define problems, research, and prepare solutions by properly communicating with the necessary personnel.
Qualifications :
- 5 to 10 years of Siemens software engineering experience in doing field startups,
- PLC and HMI programming
- Experience in setting up variable frequency drives for Siemens PLC / HMI and Siemens VFDs programming preferred.
- Knowledgeable with using and applying the NEC electrical code.
