Location : Dallas, Texas (75230) – Texas nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Level III NICU, North Tower 4th Floor

Number of Beds : 108

Shift : 12-hour nights (7P-7A), rotating weekends and holidays

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 5 / 2025 – End : 2 / 4 / 2026)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470 - $1570 per week

Employment Type : Travel nursing assignment

Documentation System : CPN, Meditech

Dress Code : Royal blue scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license – Registered Nurse jobs in Texas

Minimum 1 year of Level III NICU experience

BLS and NRP certifications required

Experience caring for preemies (28 weeks gestation and above)

Proficient in central line management and respiratory care, including intubated patients

Ability to float to PICU, Pediatrics, CICU and care for patients up to 2 years old

NICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality neonatal nursing care in a Level III NICU

Manage surgical and cardiac patients, including tracheostomies and broviacs

Perform advanced procedures : central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laparotomies, gastroschisis reductions, PDA ligations

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team : RNs, LVNs, PCTs, Nurse Externs

Utilize advanced NICU equipment : nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers, isolettes

Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech systems

Maintain compassionate, family-centered approach to neonatal care
