Position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a nearby school district. The SLP will work with students across various grade levels to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. This role involves collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses of speech and language disorders.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs.
Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings.
Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and district regulations.
Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support student goals.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
Qualifications :
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Michigan SLP License and MI Department of Education Certification (Speech-Language Specialist).
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs considered.
Experience in a school setting is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
