About you and this role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Developer in Advance Microsoft Technologies located in Midland, MI, and Houston, TX . As a Senior Developer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise software solutions using Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, and AI technologies. Mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive Agile project delivery across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modern web and mobile applications using Angular and .NET Core frameworks.

Modernize and upgrade legacy Angular and .NET applications to the latest versions for improved security, performance, and compatibility.

Architect, design, and implement Power Platform solutions (Power Apps – Canvas & Model-Driven, Power Automate) to optimize and automate business processes.

Develop secure, high-performing REST APIs and integrate them seamlessly with front-end applications.

Design and build scalable solutions by leveraging Azure services (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps) and implement CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Apply a product-centric approach to create solutions that are scalable, reusable, and adaptable for multiple business units, external customers, and multi-tenant environments.

Design and implement monitoring solutions to track KPIs, improve user experience, and reduce application maintenance costs.

Collaborate with Dow enterprise architects to define architecture strategies and ensure adherence to development and architecture standards.

Conduct code reviews to enforce security, coding standards, and architectural compliance.

Continuously adopt and promote Microsoft best practices, libraries, and emerging technologies to improve development efficiency and quality.

Integrate AI capabilities (Azure AI, Cognitive Services, OpenAI APIs) to deliver intelligent automation and enhanced user experiences.

Work closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure timely delivery across global teams.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, manage sprints and backlogs, and contribute to all phases of the SDLC—requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Provide production and testing support, troubleshooting issues, resolve defects, and perform migration activities to ensure smooth releases and system stability.

Prepare and maintain technical design and architecture documentation to ensure scalability and maintainability.

Develop test automation strategies and scripts to improve quality and efficiency.

Ensure application security, scalability, and performance through compliance with Dow development standards.

Technical Skills

Front-End : Angular (Latest versions), Java / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.

Back-End : C#, .NET Core, RESTful API development. familiarity with JavaScript / TypeScript and Python is a plus.

Power Platform : Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, AI Builder.

Cloud : Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL.

DevOps : GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CI / CD pipelines.

Database : SQL Server, Azure SQL. Cosmos DB

Security : OAuth, RBAC, data governance.

Proficiency in using GitHub Copilot for accelerating development & various activities and deliverables of SDLC

AI & Automation : Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI APIs, LLM integration, AI Builder for Power Platform.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years relevant experience, or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking OR 5 years of relevant experienced in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Agile project management and SDLC leadership.

A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship / support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Microsoft certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Power Platform Developer Associate) are a plus.

Your Skills

SAP BW 7.5 on HANA Development : Deep expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, transformations, and performance tuning within BW 7.5 on HANA.

Modern SAP Platform Proficiency (S / 4HANA, SAC, BTP) : Skilled in next-generation SAP technologies, supporting migration efforts and building scalable analytics and reporting solutions.

Cloud Data Integration (Azure, Databricks, Synapse, ADF) : Ability to integrate SAP systems with cloud data platforms using Azure services and Databricks to enable hybrid SAP–cloud architectures.

Performance Optimization & Solution Engineering : Strong capability to optimize BW data flows, improve data reliability and security, and translate high‑level solution designs into production-ready implementations.

Communication, Collaboration & Agile Delivery : Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience contributing in agile or hybrid project environments.
