Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in geriatrics to join our healthcare team in Amsterdam, NY. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to elderly patients, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for our aging population through patient-centered care.

Compensation :

  • W2 Salary : $140,000 - $170,000 per year
  • 1099 Salary : Available

    • Job Duties :

  • Perform routine physical exams and checkups for residents.
  • Manage common chronic and acute conditions, such as diabetes, infections, and wounds.
  • Order diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, X-rays) and prescribe medications as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the facility's care team to develop and update patient care plans.
  • Educate residents and their families on health issues and document all care provided in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

    • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
