Robert Half is partnering with a global technology and logistics organization in search of an experienced Print Production Designer to join their creative team. This role supports the development of high-impact environmental graphics and large-format visual experiences across their nationwide training and operations network.
The Print Production Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing large-scale environmental graphics that bring brand spaces to life. The ideal candidate combines strong creative vision with a solid understanding of production techniques, materials, and installation processes. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented designer who enjoys working on large-format projects that enhance spatial and brand experiences.
Print Production Designer (Environmental & Large-Format Design)
Location : Bellevue, WA (onsite)
Duration : 4+ month contract
Hours : 40 hours / week
Pay Rate : $55-60 / hour
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design environmental graphics, wayfinding systems, and branded signage solutions.
- Create production-ready artwork for large-format printing applications.
- Conduct site surveys and take precise measurements to ensure accurate installation specifications.
- Prepare detailed print mechanicals, production specs, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives and translate them into creative design solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee print production to maintain quality and consistency.
- Review and approve proofs, mockups, and final installations.
- Ensure brand alignment and quality standards across all deliverables.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design or related field.5+ years of experience in environmental graphic design and large-format print production.Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).Strong understanding of large-format printing processes, materials, and fabrication methods.Skilled in developing technical specifications and print-ready mechanicals.Working knowledge of wayfinding principles and environmental design standards.Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with architectural drawings or spatial planning.Familiarity with ADA signage requirements and fabrication methods.Proven experience managing multiple vendor relationships and timelines.Strong portfolio showcasing environmental and experiential design work.Technical Skills
Expertise in preparing design files for a variety of printing processes.Understanding of color management , substrates, and material specifications.Proficiency in creating scaled drawings and installation plans.Experience with project cost estimation and production budgeting.Work Environment
