We are expanding across Florida, and our St. Petersburg office is seeking a skilled and dedicated Plan Reviewer.

Position Summary : As a Plan Reviewer, you will ensure compliance with Florida Building Code and local regulations by reviewing construction plans. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and local authorities to facilitate permitting and construction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans for code compliance.
  • Provide feedback on corrections or clarifications.
  • Complete reviews within specified timeframes.
  • Communicate with contractors, design professionals, and officials.
  • Stay updated on building codes and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Work with the inspection team to ensure smooth project progression.

    • Qualifications :

  • At least 5 years of experience in building code review or related field.
  • Certification as a Plans Examiner or ability to obtain within six months (preferred : ICC or Florida Board).
  • Knowledge of Florida Building Code.
  • Ability to interpret construction documents.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and permitting software (preferred).

    • This is a remote position.
