Summary
The Human Resource Assistant provides key administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
Responsibilities
Benefit Administration.
Full-cycle recruiting.
Track, document and follow-up on action required to manage employee attendance program.
Perform new hire, job change, and benefits orientations as needed while managing all paperwork.
Train personnel on company policies / processes.
Respond to unemployment claims, requests for information and references as needed.
Lead and / or participate in team projects and the implementation of company events.
Qualifications
1+ year recent working experience in a Human Resources role or department is required. High priority to those in the manufacturing industry.
Displays a high level of critical thinking and analysis.
Demonstrated highly motivated, strong leadership and teambuilding skills with self-motivation, problem-solving abilities, team spirit, and a “hands-on” mentality.
Advanced level of proficiency in computer systems.
Proven work history communicating in person, over the phone, email, internet, and writing in a positive and professional manner.
Shift : M-F 7am- 4pm (some flexibility needed)
Pay : Up to $25 / hr depending on skills and qualifications
