About the
Job :
As a Radiology Technologist –
SNHH , you will perform all aspects of Diagnostic
Radiology, producing high-quality images while ensuring patient
comfort and safety. This includes trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic,
contrast, and invasive procedures, along with maintaining
compliance with safety standards, regulations, and departmental
protocols.
What
You’ll Do : Review patient
medical information, confirm orders, and obtain necessary
consents.
Perform diagnostic imaging exams and
invasive procedures according to established
protocols.
Assist radiologists with
fluoroscopic and contrast
procedures.
Administer IV, oral, and rectal
contrast agents per protocol.
Operate and
transport portable X-ray equipment.
Inspect
images for quality and prepare them for radiologist
interpretation.
Ensure patient safety by
following ALARA radiation safety guidelines, using shields / aprons,
and safe patient-handling
techniques.
Demonstrate proficiency with RIS
and PACS systems.
Maintain patient
confidentiality in compliance with
HIPAA.
Support training and onboarding of new
staff.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered
care at all
times.
Who
You Are : Graduate of an
AMA-approved Radiology Technology program (or equivalent) and
eligible for ARRT(R) certification within one year of
hire.
Licensed by the State of NH Board of
Medical Imaging, the State of MA as a Radiologic Technologist, or
both, depending on location.
Able to multitask,
prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and operate imaging
technology systems.
Strong communication skills
with the ability to provide compassionate, professional patient
care.
(Preferred) 1–2 years of radiology
experience.
