Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school located in Soledad, CA, is seeking a substitute Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide support when one of the two full-time SLPAs is absent. This contract position offers the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role depending on future needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
• Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, confidential records of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate effectively with school staff to promote student success and integrate speech therapy goals into the school environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility to step in as needed during SLPA absences.
