Senior Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Project Manager
Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Project Manager to lead projects, drive business development, and expand Parsons' footprint in the Northeastern US ITS market, with a focus on New England. This role combines technical expertise in ITS systems with strategic leadership, client cultivation, and project management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ITS network communications, Traffic Management Center (TMC) systems, Traffic Signal Controllers, and Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAV) technologies, as well as a proven track record of delivering complex ITS projects and fostering client relationships.
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the scope development, management, and commercial performance of ITS projects while identifying new opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and developing proposals. This position is ideal for a solutions-driven professional who enjoys being technically involved in projects, cultivating clients, and working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities :
Identify, track, and manage new project opportunities in the Northeastern US ITS market.
Act as the Company representative with clients during program / project execution.
Provide hands-on technical leadership in the design, configuration, operation, and administration of ITS systems, including Traffic Management Centers, Traffic Signal Controllers, and Traffic Control Software.
Negotiate scope changes with clients and subcontractors.
