About The Smith
The Smith is an extremely popular casual neighborhood brasserie – in fact, several of our locations are among the Top 100 busiest restaurants in the US! The menu features bistro classics, seasonal fare, and craft cocktails. Our signature lively atmosphere makes The Smith a versatile setting for an after-work bite, drinks on the town, a birthday bash, a working lunch, a bountiful brunch, or an I-don’t-want-to-cook-tonight night.
The Position : Host
- Greet all Smith guests by being attentive to them as soon as they walk through the door
- Create a welcome environment for guests, when appropriate refer to guests by their names.
- Say yes! Always try to find ways to accommodate a request.
- Guide guests to their tables with menus.
- Manager the floor plan and pay special attention to reservations and ensure they are seated in a timely manner.
- Clean, organize, and stock menus at host area.
- Answer phone and answer questions concerning the menu and the restaurant.
- Observer the entire dining experience ensuring that every moment at the exceeds expectations
