Job Overview

Mobile Associates are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in high-traffic environments, and continually adapt to technology innovations and customer needs. Mobile Associates build and deepen relationships through meaningful interactions, identify customer needs, and passionately educate and recommend solutions. Their goal is to exceed performance targets while providing exceptional customer experiences and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment, using digital tools, communicating effectively, educating customers, and showcasing the value of T-Mobile solutions.
• Leverage digital self-serve tools during interactions and onboarding, identify customer needs, and apply solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services.
• Complete training on the T-Mobile in-store experience, new skills, products, and processes; stay current on promotions and updates; and continuously improve skills to provide the best experience for customers.
• Perform on-boarding for customers, including practice of skills, knowledge sharing, store operations, opening and closing procedures, and secure handling of keys and assets.
• Exhibit customer obsession; build rapport, trust, and loyalty; proactively reach out to potential customers; follow up, capture referrals, and manage return-processes to drive sales activity.
• Collaborate with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set-up through device support and account servicing.

Compensation

Hourly Base Pay : $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on-the-job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert may lead to annualized incentives up to $18,000 per year. Base pay and incentives allow a guaranteed earning of $20 per hour for eligible employees.
