Job descriptionWill work directly under the Director Responsible for managing staff and children Will monitor activities to ensure they are adequate Takes part in scheduling Friday Funday Events Plan and facilitate games, sports, and other outdoor activities Create daily and weekly schedules catered to each group of campers, their ages, and interests Monitor campers and escort them to various activities Provide fun learning opportunities Set up, take down, and maintain camp equipment Communicate with parents Previous experience as a manager or in a similar position a plus Highly organized and responsible Excellent communication skills Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including hiking, running, and carrying equipment

We are seeking an outgoing and experienced Assistant Director to join our day camp team! As an assistant director, your top priority will be to ensure the safety of our campers. You will oversee camper activities and make sure they dont get lost or hurt. You will oversee your direct department, managing staff and communicating with parents. You will also plan fun activities and games, provide outdoor education, and set up camping equipment. The ideal candidate loves the outdoors and wants to share their passion with campers!
