Operating Room Surgical Technologist

Position Overview

Main OR Operating Room Surgical Tech position

12-hour shift with D / E / N rotating shift schedules

48 hours per week schedule accommodation available

Clinical Environment

Care for a wide variety of patients across multiple specialties

Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma

Level 1 trauma center designation

2 DaVinci robots utilized by multi-services

Comprehensive transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts

Job Requirements

NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician

Two (2) years experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred

Able to scrub and circulate

Required Certifications

BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

Tech License (NY License ONLY)

Required Skills and Experience

Two (2) Years Experience - Required

OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred and able to scrub preferred - Required

BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required

Tech License (NY License ONLY) - Required
