Freelance Experiential Designer

NVE Experience Agency is a brand experience and production agency dedicated to building ideas rooted in culture and guided by the principle that The Right Moment Will Transform Someone Forever. NVEs team of creatives, strategists, and producers develop insight-driven ideas rooted in culture to convert consumer attention into commitment, action, and brand loyalty.

Summary of Position:

We are seeking talented Freelance Experiential Designers across Associate, Mid, and Senior levels to join our creative team. As Experiential Designer at NVE, you will help create experiences and campaigns for some of the worlds biggest, boldest and most beloved brands. This is a mid-level role that involves ideating and executing design concepts, developing 3D renders, and overseeing onsite installations. The Experiential Designer will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure every project meets NVEs high standards of creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop experiential concepts, including floorplans, renderings, and technical drawings
• Work with creative leadership to ensure the work is on brief and out of this world
• Liaise with internal teams, vendors and partners to ensure quality and accuracy in production
• Support onsite execution, maintaining the integrity of the creative vision
• Create detailed project documentation and specifications
• Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and pitch development
• Articulate rationale for creative choices to internal teams as well as clients
• Provide input on budgets and timelines for project feasibility
• Act as a liaison between design and production teams for flawless execution
• Stay updated on design software, tools, and industry trends

Qualifications

• You have a portfolio that makes other creatives jealous (spec work is okay if it shows your thinking)
• You embody NVEs behaviors be courageous, be committed, be curious, be catalysts, and be good citizens
• You are proficient in 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino) and have experience using AI to support the design process
• You are confident, passionate and have a POV, but not an ego you know that this work takes teamwork
• You are a lifelong student of creativity and design you love what you do and it shows

Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time

Location

We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. The ideal candidate is located in LA or NY, however, we will consider remote candidates for this role.
