Job descriptionPackage Inspection : Check for damage, proper addressing, and hazardous material labels. Documentation : Maintain delivery receipts / proof of delivery. Emergency Contacts : Maintain updated contact lists for urgent deliveries Escalation Procedures : Define clear steps for handling delivery disputes or issues Access Control : Limit loading dock access to authorized personnel only Surveillance : Review monitors for abnormal activity Secure Storage : Lock high-value packages in designated secure areas Tenant Notification : Notify personnel of package deliveries. Help maintain an accurate log of people (Vendors / Visitors / etc) who may enter the building for a business need but do not have access to the building. Allow verified personnel to enter the facility by opening doors (pushbutton) or gates (pushbutton). Review monitors for verifying the business need of people entering the site and / or watching for abnormal activity. Hours : 40 hours per week Normally 8 : 00am 4 : 00pm but may vary by the needs of the site
High Level : Assist with Mailroom and Loading Dock functions for the site. Additionally may review monitors, verify ID's for people entering the facility and escort people as needed.
Receiving Operations :
- Scheduled Deliveries : Coordinate with carriers for delivery windows.
- Space Management : Maintain organized sorting areas with clear labeling for different tenants / departments.
- Chain of Custody : Utilize a chain of custody tool when receiving and delivering packages.
