JOB DESCRIPTION

Mechanical Engineer I -

Will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assist in the design and analysis of rotating industrial machinery and ASME code-stamped pressure vessels for a wide range of customers at the forefront of todays process technologies. This position supports continued development and growth of the companys product lines through engineering analysis, 3D modelling, simulation, and preparation of technical documentation. The ME will collaborate with on-site manufacturing, process / chemical engineering and quality teams in a dynamic work environment.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists with the design, calculations, and analysis of industrial rotating equipment under the guidance of senior engineering staff.
• Supports pressure vessel design activities and learns to perform ASME Code calculations under supervision, gaining practical experience with Section VIII and related standards.
• Assists in the selection of mechanical components including seals, bearings, motors, and pumps.
• Prepares and maintains project documentation, including but not limited to :

Fabrication and machining drawings
