Shift : Nights, 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 30 AM

Unit & Role Overview

Join a Level III Trauma Center, ACC Chest Pain / STEMI Center, and Joint Commission Acute Ready Stroke Center providing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatric adults. The Emergency Department has 12 beds with a patient ratio of 4 : 1 . EMR system : MedHost.

The RN provides shift accountability for the safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department, using the Nursing Process in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The RN demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership, delegating and supervising patient care based on staff competencies.

Requirements

Minimum 1+ years ED RN experience in a hospital setting

Minimum 2 completed travel assignments required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS

Strong ED experience required

Skills : Drip titration, ventilator management

Preceptor or charge experience preferred
