Manager, Purchasing (Lab)

Must-haves

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively across multi-functions within the organization and with external vendors - Knowledge of basic wage and hour laws, federal, state, and local laws, and regulations affecting employment

Required Skills

Procurement and inventory control - Budget management - Vendor relationship management - Contract negotiation - Microsoft Office - Purchasing practices and MRP functions - Experience with developing and managing departmental budgets

Preferred or Nice-to-have Skills

Microsoft SQL - Crystal reporting - Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System)

Years of Experience : Minimum of five years of experience in purchasing or contracting.

Industry Experience : Experience in a clinical laboratory or healthcare setting is preferred, with a focus on kidney care.

Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree in a related area.

• Must have experience with Microsoft Office
• Ability to develop written standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Must have in depth experience with a purchasing practices and MRP functions
• Must have experience with developing and managing departmental budgets
• Microsoft SQL and Crystal reporting a plus
• Must have experience with WMS
