Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU)
The LADS Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Contracts within the Short and Medium Range Ground Based Air Defense (SMGBAD) area. In this role, the selected candidate will be a member of a team engaging in complex situations and be asked to find creative solutions to support the U.S. Army's Enduring Indirect Fire Protection Capability (E-IFPC) system. This role will provide opportunities to work in a number of interesting contractual situations on a program that has growth potential in the $Bs as it quickly transitions from prototype development into production. The successful candidate's attributes should include but are not limited to strong experience with FAR / DFARS / Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) terms and conditions, risk assessment and negotiations, understanding the implications of international work, strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, subject matter expertise in general contracting, and be able to provide contractual and business guidance to the Program Management Leadership.
What You Will Do
Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to establish mutually beneficial relationships. Provide support to the Associate Director, Contracts. Provide support to complex contractual matters and help reach resolution through proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders. Support development of pre-negotiation objectives and implement negotiation strategy reviews as part of the proposal development process. Have the ability to represent Raytheon independently on significant transactions while developing and maintaining trusting relationships with complex customers.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience. Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the FAR and the DFARS. Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts negotiations.

Demonstrated ability to shape results in support of objectives, including ability to communicate and influence executive leadership. Excellent communication skills and proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with complex customers. Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and develop effective relationships based on respect and trust. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential.

The salary range for this role is $124,000 - $250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
