Lead Long Term Disability Claims Specialist

A company is looking for a Lead Long Term Disability Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage a caseload of complex long-term disability claims, ensuring timely and accurate reviews and documentation

Compile and analyze file documentation, calculate benefits, and gather necessary information for claims determinations

Collaborate with external and internal resources to resolve inconsistencies and address escalated customer complaints

Required Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in LTD / IDI Insurance Claims

Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions based on available facts

Experience in managing multiple systems and technology resources

Organizational and time management skills

Preferred : Bachelor's degree and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
