  • Rounding : Included as part of PHP oversight
  • Phone Consults : Limited to patient management needs
  • Case Mix : Eating disorders and mood / anxiety disorders

  • No. of Beds in Department : Outpatient capacity varies by program (8 25 patients)
  • Office Equipment Available : Standard outpatient clinical setup
  • Specialty Backup Available : Behavioral health multidisciplinary team
  • Support Staff Available : Therapists, nurses, and administrative support
  • Reason for Coverage : Holiday coverage (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year weeks)

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Oregon medical license
  • Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • DEA : Active DEA required
  • Certifications : BLS preferred
  • Experience : Outpatient psychiatry and eating disorder treatment experience preferred
  • Other Qualifications : Must be available for onsite and virtual program coverage; no remote-only option

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for PHP patients (adults and adolescents)
  • Oversee treatment for eating disorders and mood / anxiety conditions
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in treatment planning
  • Support three programs across Portland and Oregon virtual PHP platforms during holiday coverage
