Schedule : Monday-Friday days, weekend on-call rotation after training. Hybrid work model, remote schedule as discussed with manager.

Newark-Wayne, a 120-bed hospital, provides a wide range of services including cardiology, obstetrics, orthopedics, and pulmonary care. We are a designated Stroke Center, an exemplary facility for improving care for older adults, and have recently received the WHO Baby-Friendly designation. RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assessment - Conduct thorough nutritional assessments for patients and contribute to Nutritional Support Service rounds. Monitor and document patient progress effectively.
Diet Planning - Recommend formulations, rates, and volumes for tube-fed and TPN patients. Educate patients and families on special diets and nutrition best practices.
Patient Care - Design personalized care plans based on clinical data and patient needs. Supervise dietetic technicians in delivering excellent patient care.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
Registered Dietitian (RD) certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), either active or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical skills, computer proficiency, and effective communication abilities.
Outstanding customer service and patient care skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Medium Work - Must be able to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and engage in frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
PAY RANGE : $29.50 - $37.38
The listed base pay range represents potential earnings for a successful full-time applicant. Pay may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, specialty, and location.
