UMMG Staff Physician Urology

The Department of Urology at the University of Miami Miller School Of Medicine is seeking applicants for a Clinical Urologist (Staff Physician) for our DSMC Lennar and new SoLeMia location.

Essential Job Functions :

• Primarily in an outpatient clinic environment
• May include responsibility for coverage of some outpatient procedures in an ambulatory setting
• Perform clinical activity through the University of Miami Clinical Group (UMMG) clinical practice plan including surgical activity at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics and / or other affiliated hospitals
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system is preferred
• Effective communication, customer service skills, and prompt responsiveness are essential in this role
• Compassion, teamwork, adaptability, and high levels of professionalism are

Desired Job Qualifications :

MD / DO from an accredited medical school or foreign equivalent

Urology Residency

Licensed or eligible to obtain a Florida license

Board-certified or Board-eligible in Urology
