Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults Admissions : Yes Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : General inpatient hospital medicine No. of Beds in Department : TBD Office Equipment Available : Standard hospital equipment Specialty Backup Available : Available per hospital staffing Support Staff Available : RNs, APPs Reason for Coverage : GO LIVE CONVERSION Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : TBD Credentialing Timeline : TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Standard inpatient hospitalist procedures Admission and management of adult medical patients Licenses : Active Mississippi medical license required Board : BC / BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine DEA : Active DEA Certification Certifications : BLS, ACLS (preferred) Experience : Minimum of 30 inpatient or outpatient encounters in past 12 months, or completion of hospital-affiliated accredited residency or fellowship Other Qualifications : Must provide three professional references who can attest to current clinical competence, ethics, and teamwork Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage for adult patients Admit, round, and discharge patients as assigned Collaborate with nursing staff and APPs for coordinated care Maintain thorough documentation in EMR Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical staff bylaws Participate in GO LIVE transition support if applicable
