Plan Development Specialist / Medical Writer

A growing healthcare company is seeking a detail-oriented Plan Development Specialist to create medical documentation and patient narratives for insurance purposes. This backend role requires a balance of technical writing and storytelling to translate limited patient / family input into comprehensive narratives.

Responsibilities

Review and process medical paperwork for assigned cases.

Create lengthy narratives (up to 100 pages) explaining patient needs.

Convert limited family input into compelling stories that support insurance approvals.

Contact patients or families if information is missing.

Complete one application per day (five per week).

Ideal Qualifications

Strong writing skills with excellent grammar and vocabulary.

Ability to combine technical accuracy with narrative detail.

Highly organized and detail-focused.

Previous experience with medical documentation preferred.

Compensation

25 / hour + $50 bonus per approved application.

Direct, hands-on training provided by leadership.
