An independent, not-for-profit community hospital in a picturesque coastal town in Northern New England is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to join its established and collaborative care team. This full-time, outpatient-focused role offers a rare opportunity to practice in a supportive, patient-centered environment with minimal inpatient responsibilities.
Position Highlights
- Outpatient-only neurology - no hospital or stroke call
- Procedural focus : EMGs and Botox for migraines (highly sought service)
- Bread-and-butter neurology : Headache, epilepsy, stroke, Parkinson's, dementia, MS, muscle disease, sleep disorders
- Clinic-based EMG lab - all studies performed on-site
- Strong support staff : Dedicated MAs, APPs, and an administrative team
- Flexible schedule : Typically 1 admin day / week; current MD alternates full and short weeks for long weekends
- Volume : 14-16 patients / day (60-min new, 30-min follow-up)
