Job descriptionWork in a combined ER and Med / Surg unit within an acute care Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting Unit features 12 inpatient beds, 10 med / surg beds, and outpatient rooms Patient population includes inpatients (hospitalized, observation, swing bed), outpatients requiring infusions or treatments, and emergency room patients Night shifts with 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week Required to work 1 to 2 weekends per month Utilizes Epic for computerized charting and barcode medication scanning Duties include caring for ER patients, inpatients, swing bed patients, and outpatients receiving infusions or treatments All staff must badge in and out at the facility Previous employees of the health system must have ended employment at least 6 months before consideration Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility may be considered local and subject to local pay adjustments Active ND or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of Med / Surg and / or ER nursing experience preferred CAH experience required Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required Ability to wear navy blue scrubs as part of the dress code High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
