Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A critical care nursing opportunity is available for experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses with a focus on neurological procedures. This contract role offers a chance to provide specialized care in a Level I Trauma Center environment, utilizing advanced surgical technology and expanding your clinical expertise.

Schedule and Hours

3x12-hour night shifts (1830-0700)
Rotating days off to accommodate unit needs
Weekend scheduling may be required
On-call approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend shift per month
Flexible Return to Office (RTO) requests welcomed, with time make-up arrangements

Responsibilities

Deliver perioperative care in a Level I Trauma Center with a strong emphasis on neurovascular and spine surgeries

Utilize advanced skills in neuro procedures such as ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, kyphoplasty, laminectomy / discectomy, lumbar fusion, and XLIF

Operate robotic surgical systems, specifically the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, to support minimally invasive procedures

Collaborate with surgical teams and maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols

Respond promptly to call requirements and ensure comprehensive patient care

Desired Qualifications

Active RN license with a minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience

Proven Level I Trauma Center experience

Specialized skill set in neurological surgeries (3 / 4 of skillset focus) required

BLS certification mandatory

Experience with advanced robotic surgical tools (Da Vinci Xi) highly preferred

Openness to flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties
