Nerd Ninjas seeks a game-loving Producer with the creative aptitude to support the needs of our internal game developers. We’re a fast-moving, multi-disciplinary team of creative professionals dedicated to teamwork and product quality. The ideal candidate will empower and support other team members to do their best while also facilitating on-time and quality deliverables.

Flexibility & Remote Work Fully remote position with required availability during Pacific Time zone working hours.

Travel to Spokane, WA, 1-2 times a year for team-building retreats.

Responsibilities Manage the game development process from concept to completion using your experience to predict, identify and propose solutions to projects risks and issues.

Be accountable for the quality and timeliness of the delivery of product goals, features, and content.

Own and facilitate task management, timeframes, and definitions of phase / sprint goals.

Work with teams to remove roadblocks, foster communication and improve productivity and velocity.

Create and foster daily team practices and processes that help ensure success with short and long term milestones.

Unlock our team’s full potential, empower creativity, and improve cohesion.

Coordinate meetings and ensure team members stay on track.

Cultivate relationships and work with external partners and outsourcers.

Requirements 4+ years working as a producer / project manager in video games (or related fields).

Shipped at least 1 title as a producer / project manager / associate producer.

Familiarity with, and experience using, common project management methodologies.

Experience with accountability, managing resources, and monitoring progress with adaptable approaches to maximize team cohesion and communication, while maintaining company culture and empowering creativity.

Deep knowledge of game development : team dynamics, common development hurdles, game engines, milestones, identifying and solving risks, and measuring a project’s progress.

An effective and inclusive collaborator who embraces feedback and drives for consensus.

Strong analytical, conflict resolution, and English communication skills.

Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment while supporting and empowering the team.

Experience working with creative, high functioning, and quality-driven teams.

Thorough experience with Jira, Slack, and Confluence.

Self-motivated individual that works well in a highly collaborative environment.

Ability to work remotely and is available during core team hours, M-F : 9 : 00am - 5pm Pacific Time.

Must be a US or Canadian resident (unfortunately, visa sponsorships are not available; applicants outside North America will not be considered).

Pluses Experience with live service games.

Affinity for VR and Mobile platforms.

Lives in or around Spokane, WA.

Salary Range for this position is : $60k - $100k depending on experience and ability.
